Natasha Brooks is a fine artist based on Anglesey, N.Wales. She works predominantly with video, photography and installation, often with a performative element. Her work deals with different aspects of the human condition, using simple ideas and often ethereal imagery to create feelings of empathy and connection for the viewer.
Recent exhibitions include the National Eisteddfod – Llanelli, Group shows with The Modern Alchemists – Cardiff, ‘Collectivity’ a solo show at Bocs Gallery – Caernarfon. Just Add Water a group show at Dame Hannah’s – Newton Abbot.
Recent awards include first prize at Y Galeri Open Exhibition 2014, Caernarfon. Ist prize for ‘Women in Mountains Film Competition 2015’ The British Mountaineering Council, and ‘The Spirit of Adventure Film Award 2015’ The Llanberis Mountain Film Festival.
She is currently working on a video installation for Haus of Helfa, part of the Helfa Gelf Art Trail and Llawn3 in Llandudno.
